Graduate Degree in Audiovisual Communication |
Audiovisual Communication is a relatively new study in universities in Spain. It is in response to a newborn economic sector with a spectacular growth rate and future. Communication through cinema, television (conventional, digital, satellite, cable), Internet, telephony, videogames and other varieties which are developing at a surprising speed. These demand qualified professionals in all aspects of this area, from the investigation of markets and audiences to the appointing of products which will attend to these demands.
We don’t only refer to cinema, the most consolidated audiovisual medium, but also to the wide range of products which are appearing on the market with an unusual ability of adapting themselves to consumers’ tastes. On the one hand it refers to studies of the future and on the other hand to consolidated studies: Internet and mobile phones have only existed for the past ten years and the products which feed these media are hardly in the process of configuration. Cinema or television, with their classic formats, are consolidated and they have proven too well their capacity of creating activity, changing society’s behaviour and influencing people’s leisure time.
