- To know the different research, identification, selection and information collection techniques, as well as the methods to critically examine any type of resource, document or fact with the aim of treating it conveniently and transforming it into information of interest by using informative-communicative languages.
- To express oneself clearly and coherently in the official languages of the autonomous community orally and in writing, as well as having a basic knowledge of the English language.
- To know the basic form of the most relevant concepts, categories, theories and matters related to the different branches of informative-communicative investigation.
- To form oneself in order to work as a journalist which will contribute to the knowledge and development of human rights, democratic principles, gender equality, solidarity, environmental protection, universal accessibility and in the design and promotion of culture for peace.
