An Early Childhood teacher is an educational professional that favours the comprehensive development of the child, fosters his/her autonomy and lays the foundations of knowledge. He/she designs globalized activities, using a methodology based on experience and games and provides the children from 0 to 6 years of age socialization, security, stimulation, rules and routines. Our formative proposal fosters the necessity of ensuring a high quality education for infants, which the first Normal School of Female Teachers in the Balearics has been committed to since it was founded by Alberta Gimenez in 1872. |
