An exchange programme is a fantastic opportunity for students to study in Mallorca for a semester or a full year as part of their bachelor degree programmes. Studying at CESAG (Centro de Enseñanza Superior Alberta Giménez) attached to the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) is a truly unforgettable experience for any international student. ABOUT US CESAG is an institution based on Christian beliefs which was founded by Alberta Giménez (a pioneering woman who set up the first School of Female Teachers in the Balearics) in 1948 and since 1972 it is located in La Vileta, on the outskirts of Palma de Mallorca. CESAG started as a School of Education which has a reputation for high-quality teaching and nowadays Journalism and Communication Studies are also offered. Overseas students are welcome to join our Study Abroad Programme and are integrated fully into both the academic and social life of the University as CESAG is committed to the equality and diversity of all its students, staff and service users. Besides, a well developed Research Office provides a range of services to support researchers. SERVICES International Relations Office CESAG is aware that the professional future of its students depends increasingly on the direct experience they acquire during their university studies and on their experience in other countries. Exchange programmes, which are the result of cooperation between universities in different countries, offer students the chance to broaden their academic experience in other countries and welcome those international students who choose to continue their education in our country. Staff in the International Office provides information and advises about the application process and all aspects of becoming a student at CESAG. Necesita activar JavaScript para visualizarla Religious service The Religious Guidance is a group of young Christians studying at CESAG that encourages both staff and its students alike to become involved in Volunteering activity. Our mission is to work collaboratively with local, regional and national organisations enabling both students and staff to participate as active citizens for the mutual benefit of individuals, the institution and the community. We organise conferences on different topics related to religion, leisure trips and a range of other activities. All students are welcome to participate! Culture The cultural activities organised by CESAG aim to offer students access to the world of theatre, music, literature, cinema and debates to give them the opportunity to widen their cultural horizons and to participate actively in these cultural initiatives. FACILITIES Library Our library is a support service for learning, teaching, research and all other activities related to the institutional objectives of the University. We aim to provide a quiet working environment where students can study, borrow books and access to a range of study resources. Computer Room There is a Computer Room which houses a large number of computers as well as fast and high-quality printers. Wireless access is available in all areas. Seminars We have a range of seminar rooms of various sizes which are oriented towards group work, class discussion and other collaborative learning projects. Video & Audio Studio Our studio facilities have high quality production equipment therefore we can offer a full and professional broadcasting, recording and editing service. The Copy Shop The Copy Shop provides excellent copy, paper, printing and other office services to students and professors. Cafeteria The Cafeteria serves sandwiches, snacks, hot food and a range of hot and cold drinks. Sports The sports facilities at CESAG are offered to university members to enjoy all kinds of activities, whether physical/sporting, recreational, competitive or simple pastimes.
