Minors of the bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
What is a Minor?
Spanish Universities have the option of completing the denomination of their bachelor's degrees with the inclusion of specialization itineraries (Minors, Concentrations, 'menciones') of their own curriculum.
With the Specializations (Minors), CESAG students enjoy an additional specialization without having to study a new bachelor's degree. In a world of work that requires the new teachers specialization and ability to work in multipurpose and transversal teams, being competent in various areas of work is a valuable asset.
In addition, the present regulation (el Royal Decree-Law 1594/2011, of November 4th) stablishes the need for areas such as teaching English, Music, Physical Education or Educational Therapy to be in the hands of specialist teachers.
In the bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education the specializations available are the following:
Minor in English as a Foreign Language (compulsory)
The mastery of the English language has become an essential vehicle for communication between people and for the professional insertion of teachers, whether in Spain or abroad.
This Minor consists of 30 ECTS credits and their subjects are taught in English. The subjects integrated in this Minor are:

Minor in Educational Therapy (optional)
All students need to be served depending on the actual and potential development of various capacities. The realization of this specialization itinerary allows a greater knowledge and a better intervention with the students who present some difficulty in the learning.
Obtaining this Minor of 30 ECTS credits is possible by taking the following subjects:

The Music Education completes the training of the teacher and enables him to practice teaching in this area, necessary for the development of all aspects of the person. This specialitzation itinerary, of 30 ECTS, consists of the following subjects:
